Matt & Pyper

The month of March was “relaxing” in that Matt couldn’t do anything, so we didn’t make any plans for an entire month!! It was awesome! On Saturday March 1 he and Kaden were running errands and brought home a surprise for me—my very own pair of irrigating boots!! (What happened to flowers, candy, or even lunch?!) Matt said they would be nice for me to have just in case I ever needed them. Well, four days later Matt tore a disc in his spine bucking hay, so I then needed my new boots to take over some of his farm duties. (The cows love seeing me every morning and night since I bring them their mealsJ . . . the feeling is not mutual!) Matt missed work for about a week and a half, and I became his taxi to many doctor appointments, and his personal assistant for everything else. The kids just loved having their dad around (me too!) and were very sweet to bring him ice packs and rub his leg. He is slowly recovering, for which we are very grateful. He’s still very limited to what he can do. Family has been sooo good to us!! It has made us grateful for good health and wonderful friends and family we can count on. On another note for our family—we are expecting our third child. We are about four months along now (due the first part of September), and an early ultra sound indicates it’s a girl. Hope all is well with everyone!

I can just visualize David battling it out with some YSA at ping pong with the biggest grin on his face!

He DOES enjoy playing ping pong
