Elaine & Dean

On the 5th of January Levi and Jessica celebrated their 4th anniversary. Wow, how time flies. We love having them close so we can spend time with Macy. She is so blasted cute.
Amy and Justin came over the weekend of the 15th to attend funeral services for Alan Ethington. Mandy and Amy were best friends in high school and roomed together for a year at Ricks. Mandy's Dad had been fighting cancer for quite a few years, and during this time Amy had tried to help support Mandy by way of phone. It was nice we could all attend the services and support their family.
The next weekend we went over to Amy and Justin's so the guys and the little boys could do their pre-planned coyote hunting adventure right there in the fields by the diary. Amy and I did domestic things while the guys were gone. We also attended a BB game for Carson, and that was precious.
We had a youth fireside at our house on Sunday morning the 30th, and it felt kind of nice to be home for a weekend to get ready for it.
Of course we did all of the usual January things, like put away all of the 2010 files at home and at work, and then get ready for the new year. We did all of the year end reports, W 2's and 1099's. It is always kind of nice when everything ties out, the stuff is in the mail, and no one calls to complain.I was in charge of the YW’s camp fundraiser on Wednesday the 19th so I was glad when it was over. Everyone was really generous so that was especially nice.
I contacted the people at Hazelwood about reserving the clubhouse for Friday the 24th of June and it was a go, so I will be securing that in the next couple of weeks. I am trying to get a hold of Joanne Durfee (Hale) to see about taking an antique car tour at their place on Saturday afternoon, but I can't find a good number for her. If anyone has a number let me know.
You can Google Weiser Old Time Fiddler Contest and read all about the event. Tickets are currently available and we can get a group discount. If we order now I am sure we could all sit together. So you need to let me know by February 10th if you plan to attend the reunion and then I will get the group tickets ordered. My plan for this reunion is to keep it low keyed and not too structured. After all, we are getting older you know, so let's not over do this thing.
Anyway, just let me know by February 10th so I can order the group tickets. I will be making more reunion details available once I think of something for us to do. Have a great month.
