Well August started out great. Hanna and family came over to talk about baptism and we had BANANA BOATS! Yummy snack Laura had a girls camp! We broiled them in the oven instead of the campfire but they were still good.... You take a banana, peel it, put it on tin foil, split it down the middle lengthwise and then put choc chips and mini marshmallows on it. Close it up, and broil (if you like toasty marshmallows) or bake it until melted.... mmmmmm yum.

We went to a Demolition Derby with Julie and Mckae. It was crazy insane. But a lot of fun. Then they came down to go to one of Julie's friends reception and a couple of her friends farewells. It was fun going, I had taught both girls in Seminary. It's so amazing to see how they had changed.

David has been busy. And when he's not busy, he turns his hat around to go ride with Reid and watch and learn Yukon Refrigeration.

It's hard to believe this summer is almost over, and school is starting. We have spent a lot of time looking for a house that will meet Mom's needs and David’s.

Seminary is crazy this time of year with getting all the classes set up and the teachers in place, kick off firesides, and registration.

Well the 26th turned my life upside down. As you know Mom passed that night, even though they didn't let her go until the next morning. I can be thankful for many things, one that she was such a part of my family’s lives. They have all loved Bart and having her with us. The time she spent with me. That I was with her when she left this mortal life. For good family, friends, who have given love and support. Especially thankful for the gospel and the knowledge of the hereafter. She was buried in the West Point cemetery Sept 1. Thanks to all of you for the flowers and card. I really appreciate it, if you didn't know they got sunflowers! I love them. And a beautiful red vase.
