Dale & Sharon

May is a crazy month like December. We had year end field trips to Birds of Prey in Boise, then swimming and ice cream. A few days later was Cody's 8th graduation from W W Jones School in the big town of Arock. He was the only one in his class. Dave Christiansen came and spoke with his lovely wife Sandy. He has been J V branches high council men for the last4years and has been Cody's priesthood teacher.

I made dinner and took it to the Grange Hall for the out of towner’s family and teachers. One of the teachers did kind of Cody roast and told stories on Cody from way back. We were able to have a nice slide show and it got Dale choked (me too) because it took Dale a minute or two before he could say the closing prayer. The people in Arock got a little preaching to and they didn't even know it.

The next week end was rodeo and Shannon and Brandon and some his friends come up They shot a few thousand rounds at grounds squirrels and they missed some. Saturday morning there was 8 girls here getting ready for the rodeo in town, they had all camped out and wanted a shower.

The next weekend was branch conference and there was 14 inches of snow on the ground in Jordan Valley so we ate inside afterwards. The boys have been busy working ground, planting trying to get things ready for summer.

Cari was here for part of the month and is now working in Island Park on a dude

ranch and already met some relatives of the other Sharon’s; a nephew I think. Rena is coming home for her 2 months of summer before she heads off to Kansas State for next year.
