Reta & Ron

December was filled with activities of Christmas: First Presidency Christmas Message, Listening to Christmas Music,
Attended the neighbor girls Christmas dance recital, The Ward Christmas Cantata (my favorite), and, of course, looking for that right gift for the recipient.

I have also been busy spoiling a newborn baby and helping Janna with him. She is a good mother and takes very good care of him.

He was blessed on December 27th. Trav and Emily were up here for Christmas and we did it then. Ron gave him a beautiful blessing. Had those attending for the blessing over to the house for a light buffet. That was fun to do.

Trav and Emily came up for Christmas. The favorite memory is playing Rook every night until midnight and see who was going to pull out being the champion of the night.

It was very enjoyable to have them here. Glad that they could make it up here for Christmas and Carter's blessing.

Christmas is such an appropriate time to ponder of the great mercy Heavenly Father and Christ extend with the birth of Jesus. I am so very thankful for such a wondrous gift.
