May was a busy month having fun with family members. I flew back from Salt lake City on May 1st and by May 4th, we had been to Nashville, Tennessee to be with Gregory/Melinda & family, and had driven to Huntsville, Alabama to take Nicolas to the Space Center for his 4th birthday.... except it was closed because of the tornadoes had came through and had knocked out their electricity. But hey, we enjoyed our fun and pizza together at Chuck E. Cheese.

The Atlanta temple was dedicated on May 1st and now is open. We have been asked to serve Friday and Saturday mornings on Shift One. So we began with this refreshing experience this month. For our FHE group this month our guest speaker was a sister who had served or worked under every temple president except for the first one.

We were saddened to hear that Lesta "Chaleen" Forbis passed away on May 9th. But we know she is happy with her parents, Al & Dianne.

On the 11th through 17th, David, Rebecca and Mabel came for a visit. Oh we had fun and enjoyed our playtime together. Mabel walks so good and she loves wearing necklaces. She met lots of our friends. Grandpa gave her her very first ice cream cone; she liked it.

On the 18th, Dale and Linda flew in and more fun began. We went golfing, they were introduced to some of our friends there and at our stake conference, and we went to a Gwinnett Braves game. We spent a week at Hilton Head, South Carolina for more golf, bike rides, sunset cruise and good, good food every day. One day we had fun in Savannah, GA on the Trolley sightseeing tour and stops.

They left on May 30th and that sums up our month of May.
