Lila & Mark

Mark and I have been bookends to the month of February. He had the flu/cold at the beginning of the month and I had the flu/cold at the end of the month. February is a short month anyway so that doesn't leave many days in between.
We were able to attend Grant Sorensen's baptism. He is already in the making of being a future missionary...what a great young boy. After the baptism, we attended a luncheon at the Sorensen home and were able to visit with some family members there.
A few days later we attended a Court of Honor for one of the youth that Mark home teaches where he received his Eagle Scout award. Here was an example of another young man so prepared to be a future missionary. Have you noticed that nowadays the children and youth of the church are so much more advanced in church knowledge than we were at their age?
We attended a few wedding receptions, helped with RS meeting at a care facility within our Stake boundaries, Mark sang in a Male Quartet at a Ward Activity hosted by the High Priests, attended Empty Nester's H.E., etc.

Today we have gotten about five inches of snow so winter isn't over yet. It is a beautiful winter wonderland outside.
