Dale & Sharon

The 1st week of September Crane didn't have school because of the Harney County fair, but they had football practice. We carted Cody back and forth every day because he is good help here with the water and doing mechanical work in the shop.

The boys acquired an old cement truck that wasn’t running and neither was the tub, but now the forms have been laid, rock and sand have hauled, and now all they need is the cement. It is amazing. Now they are planning on pouring about a 1/4 mile of pad behind the feed bunks.

One weekend Cody had a game in Crane in the afternoon. There was a regional Leadership training in Nampa in the evening and the next morning there was temple youth trip at 6:00 am. I was able to get a session in. We went with the same Homedale bunch the kids went on the trek with, and then ate breakfast with them at the Golden corral. Cody and I have both had a round of pneumonia earlier in the year and we both had a nasty bad cough so we went to the Dr. one Monday. The next day Dale woke up with a painful abdomen????? He stayed in bed all day and threw up a couple of times. He

said it wasn’t the flu. I finally talked him in to going out and we left here at 8:45pm, got the hospital 10:30. After a couple of hours we found out he had a kidney stone and that it had either passed or was very close to passing. They gave him some pain stuff and sent us home. He was relieved that they didn’t keep him or cut him open. We got home at 5 am, and the pain pills we drove to south Nampa to get he doesn't need but you never know with that kind of stuff. We really enjoyed conference and wish they would do it quarterly.
