April began with Stephanie and the grandchildren, Grant, Clark & Natalie visiting during their school Spring Break. General Conference weekend, Stephanie flew to SLC to be with Matt where they got to attend Conference together.

Other good things we got to do with the Sorensen’s were an Easter egg hunt, decorating and sharing Easter egg cupcakes with the neighbors, FHE, hiking to see the Amaicola Falls and having lunch, and going to the new Cabbage Patch Doll Hospital.

We took them to the airport and Doug Dibb and his friend Loudell were at the airport as we sent the Sorensen’s off and welcomed them here for their ten day golf marathon in and around Atlanta. During one of those days I went to South Carolina and participated in honoring and celebrating their Mother of the Year including a luncheon and followed with a tea at the Governor’s Mansion.

A few other thing happening in May were hosting an open house for a missionary-to-be, going back to see our former Riverlake Dr. house in Wellington Lake that is now listed for sale, Alan & Lindsay Dibb came over, I did skyping with Mabel, helped a neighbor during the subdivision garage sale; attended a Stake correlation meeting and ward conferences, and did some sharing times for Stake primary. One afternoon the Laurels came over for another session of recipes for college and a dating workshop that we had planned long ago.

I concluded the month in getting preparations done for the American Mother’s Board Mtg. in conjunction with their 75th Diamond Jubilee Celebration in New York City.
