The first part of November I was In Utah. I savored the last days of hopping in the car and heading over to Jeff's and Kristie's and enjoying them and the girls. It is always a joy to walk into their home and see what everyone is doing. Usually, there are 2 little girls laying on the floor with all the markers, scissors, stickers, and you name it drawing away to their hearts content. Kristie is either busy with Ty or in the kitchen fixing something good. Jeff, now that it is too cold to golf, is working out with friends, helping coaching Pole Vaulting at the Y, or downstairs in his office. They have all been very good to help me and make me feel included in their life.

I flew into Boise on the 14th. Switched gears. Janna had her baby on the 20th of Nov. Carter Dean Hansen weighed in at 7 lb, 7 oz and 21 inches long. Has a lot of hair. She overall had a very easy delivery. He is a very mellow baby and just eats sleeps and repeat. Janna is doing very well and is a good mother.

Jared and Christina weighed in with their darling little girl, Sasha Ann Hansen on Nov. 13th. She was 5 lb. + but fine. We are thankful for her safe arrival. They had thought about using the name Sasha when Leah was born, so they decided to use it this time around.

The names they were considering were Clara, JaCee (combination of Jared and Chritina's names) and Sasha. If they had named her Clara that would have reminded me of our Grandma Berrett named Clara.

Much to be thankful this Thanksgiving season with a marriage and 3 healthy babies.
Glad that they made here okay.


Ron has finished another year of combining.

The one thing that he really enjoyed was going over to Central, Idaho where the Hansen family came from and with the help of other Hansen family member put a headstone for 2 children that had died. It was an awesome experience for him. What was also neat, was on the day that they did it, it was one of their birthdays and the next day was the death date of the other. He has really caught the family history bug and is delving into family histories and discovering them and their lives. There are many stories of miracles in their lives. It makes one proud to be in their lineage.

The family history trip that Jared instigated after Trav's wedding has brought many mini miracles and bonding to those ancestors.

Listened to the First Presidency Christmas Message. It was very uplifting and reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas.
