I knew in October that November would be a very busy month and it was. But what an awesome month it was. On November 17th Levi and Jessica had their little baby girl named Macy. She is such a sweetheart. She just eats, sleeps and smiles. What a keeper. Everyone is doing fine and just loving having her home to fuss over.

Macy was born on Andy’s birthday so that is kind of fun. Andy and Megan’s little Orson celebrated his 2nd birthday the day before thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving Day, Andy and Megan’s family drove over for Thanksgiving Dinner. Matt and Pyper came as well and we all had a wonderful time. It seems like it is all over way too fast.

Going back to the weekend of the Friday the 13th and 14th, we held our annual Chum Hangers. We had so much fun. We were so glad Macy waited until this event was over to make her entrance.

We had a friend in our ward take a group picture of us and give us some hair braiding tips, then off we went to lunch, back to the house to play games, have cake and ice cream and candy demos. Then it was off to dinner and back for a chick flick movie.

On Saturday we went shopping at a couple of boutiques and another store and found some good purchases, then everyone went back home. The Dad’s are always so good about watching the kids so the Mom’s can come for a weekend and enjoy having both hands free to do some things.

November was also a month of appointments, lunch with friends, YW’s, the start of tithing settlement, and all of the usual monthly things we do.

But November is also a month to reflect back on the things we are grateful for and remembering to give thanks the blessings we have from our family, to our ward family, for our trials, for our home and country, for our heritage, for our health, for the gospel and the plan of happiness.

December is also going to be a busy month, but it will likewise be filled with good things if we remember why we celebrate the season and not fill it with stressful things that detract from the true meaning of Christmas. May you all have a happy and save holidays.
