Owen & Sharon

Hi Family,
Yes, we do still exist on Klamath Avenue, fourteen miles west of Nyssa, Oregon. The beautiful vivid colors of Fall are still surrounding us. We are continuing to enjoy the garden harvest. Which includes: carrots, parsnips,
Yukon Gold potatoes, Sweet Walla Walla onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and spinach. There is nothing like homegrown vegetables.
Owen and Sharon are serving in the YM and YW's. Yes, believe it. Owen teaches the Teachers on Sunday. He's an advisor with Rob Wagstaff.
Sharon is Second Counselor helping with the busy Beehives. The youth help keep us youthful and very busy.
Owen has been in harvest with Barlow’s for the last 1 1/2 months. He has become very familiar with the inside of a truck. Sharon is still at Nyssa Elementary. Our school has received a government grant that offers 3 additional hours of school, four days a week. So one day a week Sharon works until 6:30 p.m. It's full days for the students as well as the teachers and aides.
One thing that we aren't excited about is the short daylight hours. It's dark so early in the evenings. Come on over and we'll have a game night. That is what some of us ladies do during the winter months. It seems to make the nights not seem so long.
