David & Connie

September was a great month.... We went camping up to Cedar which was really fun...course David stayed and worked, but the Schulthies and Ballards came... Jo couldn't leave town so missed them. It was great weather. Mom and I went to the Women's broadcast with Angie. They had a salad buffet before it. It was great to hear from the women leaders. The month ended GREAT, with the safe and beautiful arrival of little Daysie Kaytlin Davis. We are thankful Mom and baby are both doing well. Her big brother absolutely loves her. He has a hard time keeping his hands off her; he always wants to give her kisses....
Grateful for fall to be here... Love this time of year.

October:
Where did the month go????? Wasn't it just yesterday that we were holding little Daysie for the first time?!! She is such a good baby. Like her Mommy was, I remember thinking when she was born how she hardly ever fussed. That I should write me a reminder to feed and changer her because she didn't ever remind me.
October.....football, football, football..... between Monday nights, recorded games from Sunday, UNLV David loved October. Work was a little slower so he could catch a recorded game once in a while. Reid has been good to come and watch the games on Monday with him, that always makes it more exciting. And the bonus is he'll sometimes bring Sadie and Brielle to (destroy) :*) keep Grandma entertained. They are such little rascals. Brielle is talking up a storm, and Sadie is putting words to together.
It's always great to have conference weekend to get regenerated. It was interesting to see how many speakers spoke on the "spirit" and to be open to revelation. They have progressed from the "physical" preparedness to getting us "spiritually" prepared. It was a great conference. Julie and Mckae came down and stayed with us Saturday and watched Sunday with us, then we had Angie and Brian, Reid Laura and girls, Darin and Betty Jo and kids over for dinner, that's always a fun time.
I spent the month sewing... I finally finished the blessing dress and blanket, along with 4 poodle skirts....now on to Christmas stockings....I also attend an institute class up by the temple with a couple of friends and then we go to the temple afterwards..its a great day. Our instructor is a full time CES, he does an awesome job. David got to attend class with me one day because it was my Boss's daughter's wedding right after so I told him we could go early and he could go to class with me. He enjoyed it.
I love this time of year. The next 4 months are why we live in Vegas!
