April started out with general conference which was great. Matt spent the rest of the month winding down his semester and preparing for his finals. He's just finishing them up this week. He also got a job offer to work at an e-discovery law firm, and he'll start there in June as a consultant/analyst. Stephanie had kind of a crazy month in primary as her staff seemed to slowly disappear. She's now in the process of building a presidency from scratch; the third time in the year and a half she's been in as president. There were almost a dozen "openings" in primary that needed to be filled and we're still working on it. I did get to go to womens conference in Provo. It was a quick trip in and out, with the highlight being able to hear President Monson speak, but it was a really nice much-needed break. We hosted a ward dinner group at our house and through some miscommunication got assigned about 25 people. It turned out just fine, though, and we weren't as cramped as I thought we'd be. One night Becca gave me her Merchant of Venice tickets so I got to see a play with a friend, and that was fun. The kids have been enjoying the warm weather and we've spent a lot of time outside. Grant learned how to ride his bike without training wheels, and Clark somehow manages to need about 6 band aids a day even with training wheels. Natalie's just happy to run free in the fresh air and she tries to do anything and everything she sees her brothers doing. She's talking a lot more and my personal favorite is how she always says "Maaaa-aaaatt!" every time daddy does or says something she thinks is silly. We're REALLY looking forward to spending the summer like "normal people" while Matt only has work and no school.
