Greg & Melinda's September

Life has been good, so here's an update.
Last month, I was in Houston for work for a full week. While I was there, I got to meet up with a Dibb cousin (Brian) for lunch. We had a fun time catching up and talking about the days when we were roommates at BYU. good times. Unfortunately, my trip cut short by our friend Ike who was coming in to town. Luckily I was able to get my flight moved up and I was out of there before they closed the airport.

On a separate business trip I had to go to Washington DC, and I thought "It's only a short 12 hour drive in the middle of the night--why don't I take the whole family?!" So we all packed up and drove all night--it works rather well--Melinda & I switch driving spots every few hours until we get there while the kids sleep in the back. We visited her brother Mark and enjoyed spending time with him.

Other than that, we've been at home here in Nashville, enjoying the improving weather, going to the library, Amelia's soccer games and gymnastics, and listening to our neighbors compose country music.
