Gregory & Melinda's September

For my birthday Melinda surprised me with a flight to SLC for the BYU-UofU game.  It was a great game, but we all felt bad for the Utah fans who got up from their seats for some exercise THREE times, so we decided to let them win.  Charitable of BYU, I thought...
Then I had a fun get together at Stephanie's house for my b-day.  It was good to see them & Steve again.
The flight home was probably the most memorable part, a red eye flight with Charlie.  He slept great in the car on the way to the airport, then stayed awake for 4:15 of the 4:30 flight to Charlotte.  Of course then he woke up when we got of the plane, and we all crashed (slept, not crashed into the ground crashed) on the next flight.  When we landed I went in to work.
This week was Charlie's 2nd b-day, and we had fun with him.  Charlie loves trains, so Melinda took him to ride or see every train in Nashville: zoo, museum, park, etc.  I also made him a train cake, which was very similar to the one I had for my b-day as a kid! :)
The rest of my freetime has been spent trying to finish the treehouse in our back yard.  Lowes.com said it would take a weekend, and now here I am 4 weekends later still working...oh well, it's fun.
Overall September has been great!
