I am sitting here trying to remember what we did in the month of February that might be newsletter worthy, and again, I am reminded of just how boring we are.
But we did have a couple of exciting things happen that are truly newsletter worthy.

Matt and Pyper’s Kaden turned eight on the 31st of January so he was baptized on February 6th. Pyper called that Saturday morning and informed us Kaden had been sick just once during the early morning and they were still waiting to see if Kaden felt well enough to do through with his baptism. Kaden did feel much better and we were so proud of him and how he conducted himself. It was a pleasure to spend that time with him.

Then the next day on Sunday February 7th we attended the baby blessing for Levi and Jessica’s little baby girl Macy. She was dressed so pretty, her blessing dress looked a lot like Jessica’s wedding gown, so that was fun to see. She is such a good little baby girl and she is growing so fast. She is just adorable even if I do say so myself. We were so glad all of the family could be here for Kaden and Macy.

On that Saturday night we all went out to Given’s hot springs to swim for a while. It was a lot of fun to watch all of the young kids who have taken swimming lessons as they weren’t afraid at all. They were diving off of the board and swimming laps back and forth. All of our kids didn’t even want to go past the ropes separating the deep part of the pool. I guess there are advantages to living closer to swimming lessons when kids are younger.

Going out to dinner on Valentine’s Day is not a favorite for us, so we enjoyed a special Sunday dinner instead, and that was fun.

I am ready for spring to come, which brings warmer weather and longer days. It also means we are gearing up here for another landscape season and then here we go again. Hope all of you enjoy the month of March with family and friends.
