It's New Year's Day and I am writing you from David & Rebecca's on this wonderful relaxing day. We've just returned from being at The Wisconsin Dells for a week of fun at the Christmas Cabin. Because of some computer challenges today and with the circumstances of time I am going to send this last 2008 family newsletter directly to you.
December has been a month of traveling, being with family members, looking for a new home, and Christmas.
December 1st began at David and Rebecca's. After visiting here in Minneapolis with the Molanphy's and the Sorensen's, we drove to Nashville, TN where we stayed with Gregory and Melinda, before continuing on to Atlanta to begin looking for a new home.
After about five days, I left David to keep looking and I flew back to Minneapolis where I got to do some "grand mothering" with Grant, Clark, and Natalie during the time Stephanie was in Salt Lake City for a good friend's wedding.
Nearly a week later, I flew back to Atlanta to be with David and for us to find our new home which we were able to do and we have a contract to close on the 20th of January. During this week we lucked out and were able to get our teeth cleaned, attend the Atlanta temple again, and for David to play golf four times with his friends.
We then flew back to Minneapolis for a couple of days before driving over to the Christmas Cabin, in The Dells in Wisconsin, We had a fun week with Christmas activities, and swimming activities at the water park, the grandchildren's talent show, FHE, eating too much good food, and having a family photo.
We wish you a Happy New Year and the best for 2009.
