This was our second trip to lake powell this summer... it was great! We visited the indian ruins and enjoyed checking out their living room, play room, and kitchen. the kids named everything in the house. then we jumped into the water and cooled off from the 100 degree day.
my sister, cynthia, thought she should capture my rat's nest. my mom would call a bad hair day a rat's nest... who know's where she comes up with these names. i took a shower and went to bed with a wet head soooo you can see the glamour shot.
first day of school jacob is a 1st grader and gone all day. he was very excited to eat at the cafeteria. on the 5th day of school he said, "mom, i want you to call the school and tell them that i quit first grade! after i laughed, i said, "buddy, it doesn't work that way". so everynight he asks if he still has to go to school tomorrow, the joys of being a mean mom!

madeline is a 4th grader and knows what's going on. they are both in gymnastics and enjoy being little monkeys and climbing all over.
these were the 93 tag bags that i took to swiss days. i sold all of them plus 30 more, yes! it was a lot of fun and the orders are keeping me busy so i don't miss the kids too much ;)
