We had a wonderful July!
Well, actually it got better as the month progressed. It started out with Melinda’s breaking her jaw, which took her to the hospital for a few days L. She’s a trooper though- she’s used to enduring pain and difficult situations, being married to me and all… So I took the kids to the San Francisco orchestra and fireworks show, through which they mostly slept. We then sat in 2 hours of traffic to get out of what seemed like a 5 minute show…
Friends and family were super super helpful with Melinda by bringing meals and watching the kids. While she was eating through a straw, I was eating all the free meals.
Then for pioneer day we went out to SLC for my Dad’s 70th b –day. A lot of fun hanging out with both sides of the family as well. How grateful we are for the extended family we have!
