In June I manged to hit BIG 28. My birthday's used to consist of celebration the ENTIRE month, but now birthday's aren't as fun as they used to be because I seem to be getting more gray hairs (no lie) and older feeling all over(no lie either). But, we still had fun. Nathan and I did a simple dinner at Chili's (where else, it's my favorite) and had a friend watch Grant while we enjoyed dinner in PEACE. Yes, going out to eat with a 23-month old is not really fun. But going out to eat by ourselves was rather nice. Chili's even gave us a slice of Chocolate Molten Cake on the house. Gotta love that. Who doesn't love free cake?
Nathan has continued to ride his bike to and from work and has lost around 10 pounds. We're saving money and losing weight...a definite win-win situation. He did manage to fire up the '89 Honda Accord the other day and drive it to work because he had some errands to run after work. The Accord fired up like it was nothing. It doesn't quite have 200,000 miles on it but it's getting closer!
Grant is still as spunky as ever. We went to the pool the other day and he spent more time running around the pool then being in the pool. But when he finally made it INTO the pool, he liked it. We've continued to look for jobs in Boise but haven't had much luck yet. Maybe Wendy's is hiring!
